With the Louisiana summer heat on the horizon, finding things to do outdoors with the who family can be tough. Many parents are looking for a cool place to go without breaking the bank, and if it's educational for the kids, then that's a plus. Well several of our nationally recognized museums offer free admission certain days of the week for Louisiana residents. Longue Vue House and Gardens has free admission to Louisiana residents the first Sunday of each month. It's from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and you have to pre register.
